Of the 328 runs in the area, 13% are green runs, 39% are blue runs, 38% are red runs, and 10% are black runs, which is almost half easy runs and half expert runs. The ski area is designed for beginners and children as well as for experienced skiers. The latter can even try out the joys of off-piste skiing, supervised by mountain professionals, on the 400km² that the entire 3 Valleys covers, which is 4 times the size of Paris. Station Verte is a tourist label created in 1964 by the French Federation of Green Resorts and Snow Villages.
The label is recognized on a national scale and is positioned in favor of natural and environmentally friendly tourism.
By being a green resort, Courchevel commits to :
