Discover the little-known Lower Tarentaise region, with its castles, ancestral vineyards and, more recently, its spa and numerous waterworks. A family-friendly route with the high peaks of the Vanoise in your sights.

Leaving from the Olympic city, you'll find yourself at an adventurous pace on this first part of the route. And with good reason: it's all flat! And yet the slopes around you are so steep... You pass pretty garden plots and old middle-class homes. If you're brave enough, you can pedal on to the town of Conflans, overlooking Albertville. A little further on, you'll pass by the unique Savoie caves d'affinage, which are open to the public on Heritage Days. It's a pity your musette bag is so small, as the Beaufort cheese may be a little cramped! Passing through the thermal park of La Léchère, take a mid-tour break at the Morel waterfalls, a real refreshing stop. On the way back, keep your pedal to the metal to reach the heights of Esserts Blay and its 15th-century château, part of which has been renovated. On a clear day, you'll have a fine view of the Grand Mont and the Grand Arc behind you.
