The route takes you through magnificent mountain pastures and splendid mountain views. You'll discover local farms and finish the first day in the village of Le Reposoir, famous for its Carmelite monastery.
This route plunges you into Alpine nature between the villages of Romme and Le Reposoir. You'll start with a visit to the Vormy mountain pasture, where you can sample some local cheeses. As you pass through vast expanses of alpine pastures, you'll be dazzled by the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The trail then takes you to Le Reposoir, a picturesque little village with its Carmel, a peaceful place where the Carthusian nuns welcome visitors. You can also enjoy the Carmel lake, an ideal spot for photos. The first day ends at the hotel-restaurant ‘La Chartreuse’. The next day, you'll make your way to Romme via a forest trail.
