In the hamlet of Les Molettes, the chapel of Saint Pierre was built in the 17th century. Like the various mountain pasture chapels, it enabled the parish priest to come once a summer to celebrate mass for the shepherds.
A modern painting depicts St Pierre, his bonds broken, in the landscape of the Sassière valley with the Ruitor glacier.
