Explore the exhibition spaces at your own pace: learn about the world of cheese and engage your senses with this fun tour. A multitude of activities to share in small groups, followed by a tasting session full of flavors!
During a nine-step journey, learn about the world of cheese by engaging your senses. Ring bells, listen to four humorous stories, invent your own slogan... there are lots of games, hands-on activities, and questions to enjoy.
The hopscotch court in the Abondance Valley at the exit of the site will also allow you to test your knowledge.
There are so many activities to share in small groups for a fun time followed by a flavorful tasting!
Topics covered: the geography of the valley, cow breeds, bells, how Abondance cheese is made, the eight certified cheeses of Savoie, and the valley's specialties and traditions (Berthoud, colombe, etc.).
Organization: children divided into groups.
Activity in addition to the free visit to the Maison du Fromage Abondance at no extra charge on top of the admission fee.
