Start the tour with La Tourmotte, an ancient feudal motte dating back to the 11th century. You'll discover its remains: part of the castle enclosure and the original motte next to the church, all overlooking a small old village. A little higher up, the Tamié fort and its acrofort. Continuing up the hillside, you'll find yourself perched 144 m above sea level at Fort de la Batterie. From here, facing Mont-Blanc, overlooking a cliff and dominating the Ugine valley, the view is breathtaking. And finish off at Fort du Mont, 1130 m above sea level, overlooking the Albertville region.
