The route offers sumptuous views of the natural and historical nuggets of the region: from the Chevelu lakes to Hautecombe Abbey, via the viewpoint of the Chapelle St Romain in the heart of the vineyards, let yourself be seduced...
The route from Yenne passes through the communes of Yenne, Saint-Paul-sur-Yenne, Saint-Jean-de-Chevelu, La Chapelle-du-Mont-du-Chat, Ontex, Saint-Pierre-de-Curtille, Lucey, Jongieux and Billième.
The Chapelle St Romain viewpoint can be reached from an unpaved rural road in Jongieux-Le-Haut.
For a description of the unmarked route, download the document or pick it up at the Yenne Tourist Office. A captioned map is provided to help you find your way around. You can then explore the region at your own pace, planning a picnic or a stopover in one of the restaurants along the way. The duration of the tour can vary from 1h30 to 2h30.
