A looped route between Plagne and Montchavin-les Coches through a characteristic mountain forest with Mont Blanc in the background. A great electrically-assisted mountain bike ride for the whole family.
Departing from Montchavin or Les Coches, the route climbs gradually towards the hamlets of Chanton and Sauget.
Heading towards Plan Blois then Les Frasses you reach La Plagne for a visit to the mountain resorts (the route will then be done as a return journey on the same route to Plagne Bellecote). From Plan Bois, a slow descent takes you gradually back to Les Coches then Montchavin.
From La Plagne: The departure is at Plagne Bellecôte on the hairpin bend just down from the car parks. The route takes you through the forest of Plangagnant to the hamlet of Plan Bois. From here, you fork left to go down to Les Coches and Montchavin. After visiting the village, the route climbs gradually towards the hamlets of Chanton, Sauget, and Plan Bois before reaching Les Frasses and the return trip to La Plagne.
The Pluses:
The hamlets of Les Frasses and Plan Bois are great places for a snack break in exceptional natural surroundings.
