Haute Bresse covers the valley of the Reyssouze, a natural border, and is the precursor to the other Bresse regions of the Jura and Burgundy.
A great loop to discover this region between the Reyssouze and northern Bresse.
Two tourist highlights are the Bresse village of St Trivier de Courtes, with its medieval remains and brick architecture, and the Domaine de Mépillat with its lake and campsite.
A stroll on any path from sunrise to sunset and vice versa to enjoy the serene Bresse countryside, with its farms, horses, poultry, meadows and panoramic views....
