You will have a real nice view at the top with 360° to the Mont Blanc, the Vanoise Massive and the Ecrins.
Departure : La Cour
The path to the Mont Jovet starts from the centre of la Cour. Go up through the forest above la Cour (If you follow the Grande Roche”, you will see a lovely panorama), then cross the meadow of the Mont Jovet until you reach the Mont Jovet’s refuge and climb up to the summit (2558m).
Then follow the crest through the “Pas des Brebis”, “Roc du Becoin”, the Bozelet’s Chapel, the “Croix de la Porcière” where you will find the forest track leading to Mirabozon and then to La Cour, the hamlet from which you started.
You can do the same trail in reverse from Tincave.

Passing through a protected wilderness area, this path is full of curious geological features related to gypsum. Few people walk this route. Tell someone exactly where you’re going, start out early and do not attempt in stormy weather.
