Climbed for the first time in the Tour de France 2017 during the Queen Stage between Nantua and Chambéry, the hors catégorie climb col de la Biche is a real challenge offering great panoramas.
Less known than its closest neighbor the Grand Colombier, the col de la Biche is nontheless a real challenge.
Both sides are mainly used by cyclists as only a few cars venture up there on a daily basis. Its narrow road in the woods rising up to 1325 m above sea level is 20 km long from Artemare with a total climb of more than 1000 m.
Harder starting from Corbonnod, with 6 km with an average gradient of around 10%, only the fittest climbers will be able to combine it with the Grand Colombier.
