Dogs are allowed on the Essert gondola to the Essert restaurant, but not on the ski slopes.

Little by little, you'll get a taste for skiing at Abondance: a beginners' area and pistes for all levels, a snowpark and small off-piste runs for the more adventurous, and a panoramic restaurant to relax and enjoy. A real family ski vacation!
The Essert ski area:
The village resort of Abondance offers a gondola-accessible ski area close to the village center.
The area is particularly well-suited to families: from green runs to black runs, from beginners' areas to snowparks, there's something for everyone!
The different sectors of the ski area - Le Lac, La Corne and Fremoux - offer slopes of varying levels of difficulty.
Beginners can learn to ski in a dedicated area, with lifts adapted to their level.
Younger skiers can try their hand at freestyle in the new snowpark or perfect their jumps.
The Ludoffaz snow front, just a stone's throw from the village, is a run for tobogganers and skiers.
