Experience a new side of Méribel through the new Méribel "Explore Games" experience both winter and summer in the Tuéda reserve. A cross between a digital treasure hunt and an outdoor escape game, designed for young and old.
Méribel launches an Explor Games®...co-financed by the department and the commune, in partnership with the Parc National de la Vanoise and the Société des Trois Vallées. This concept, which straddles the border between escape games and geocaching, offers a unique experience in the form of a scripted trail, available in winter and summer alike, in the Tuéda reserve, in the heart of the Vanoise National Park. Guided by a mobile app, set off on an adventure, with family or friends, and meet the challenges that await you!
The quest for the Heart of the Mountain
For centuries, people have lived in peace with nature in the Méribel valley. From ancestral traditions to welcoming visitors from all over the world, this valley never ceases to delight those who come to stay.
But recently, the elements have become unbalanced. The valley's torrents, forests and alpine pastures are under threat.
Some blame climatic upheavals, others a change in the sun's magnetism, and still others claim that an evil spirit has awakened!
But there's still hope: in the village of Les Allues, there's a story about a legendary object, a jewel with the power to bring peace and harmony to those around it.
You are a group of adventurers exploring Méribel. On hearing this story, you decide to set out in search of this mysterious object.
Set off on an adventure in the heart of the Tueda nature reserve. Take on the challenges, solve the riddles and outwit the traps along the way.
Only you have the power to save the valley.
Equipment tips: good shoes, a portable battery and tactile gloves in winter.
Dogs are not allowed on this trail.
Winter information: There are cross-country ski trails along your route. Please remember to behave responsibly towards cross-country skiers.
