Fishing in lakes and rivers in Haute-Savoie is very popular, but it's even better in Lac de Passy just in front of the mountain range of the Mont-Blanc! A fishing licence is obligatory. You can get it at the Tourist Information Center of Passy or on : www.cartedepeche.fr
This former gravel pit located on the banks of Arve will satisfy fishermen of all backgrounds: trout (fario, rainbow), carnivores (pike, perch) and the carp in its waters make it a multi-species site favourable to recreational fishing or initiation to various techniques.
