Foilleuse via Savolaire

<strong>Télécabine de Morgins (top of the gondola) - Madzé - Savolaire - Champarin - Morgins</strong>

Relax in the Morgins gondola, which will take you to the summit of La Foilleuse at an altitude of 1,815 metres. Don't forget to take a picture at the Grand Tour de Suisse spot with the Dents du Midi in the background.

Your hike starts here:

Turn left when you exit the gondola and walk alongside the gondola building. At the first intersection with yellow signs, ignore the first sign for Morgins (this trail parallel to the Bike Park is not worth take), but follow the ridge towards Madzé and Savolaire. After 200m, leave the road and take the flat hiking trail at the edge of the forest, which then later descends into the forest. When you reach the forest road, do not take the Morgins shortcut name raccourci, but take the forest road on the right for 500m to reach Madzé (pt 1627). In Madzé, take the trail at the edge of the forest (towards Savolaire, but not cabane Savolayre CAS) to reach the Buvette de Savolaire. Enjoy a well-deserved break to enjoy a fondue or a croûte au fromage with a view of the Dents du Midi and the Vaud Alps.

From Savolaire, follow now Champarin, passing to the right of two chalets, first along the farm road and then across pastureland, while enjoying the view of the Illiez Valley. From Champarin to Morgins, follow the forest road back to the village center in Morgins.
