After the guided tour of the Museum, children and parents will spend a friendly moment together trying to make their vases and decorate them with the techniques and tools of the time. You will see that the know-how of these craftsmen was immense.
The Balmes cave has yielded many ceramics from the Neolithic period, then later from the Bronze and Iron Ages. They are the markers of the many cultural influences of the entire Alpine Arc that will be found during the 3,000 years of occupation of the Balmes cave. This workshop is a first introduction to experimental archeology where everyone will have fun making a vase from the Museum that they want to reproduce.
