Itinerant circuit from refuge to refuge around the Fiz chain between the Giffre valley and Mont-Blanc. Multiple circuits possible and flexible according to your desires: 3 to 8 days of walking, from the family walk to the sports circuit.
Rich in the diversity of the sites it crosses: the Passy and Sixt nature reserves, the Désert de Platé, waterfalls and high-altitude lakes... with Mont-Blanc as a backdrop, the Tour des Fiz offers a multitude of self-created tours:
- Tasteful hikes: the 8 refuges invite you to discover the world of taste, with stops featuring original flavors from around the world... A new menu awaits you at every stop!
- to share with the whole family: several refuges offer a special "junior" welcome, with a dedicated area for coloring, books, games and a rest area. Children will be given a "carnet d'alpage" (mountain pasture notebook) with information sheets to help them discover and understand the life of the mountain pastures they'll be crossing.
- the sporty version: from the Grenairon refuge, set off to climb Le Buet, the Mont Blanc des Dames at 3099 m, a technical circuit reserved for experienced hikers.
In some refuges, you'll find a library background: you start a novel one evening and pick it up again the next day at the next stage.
The Passy nature reserve is a protected and regulated area. Dogs, even on a leash, are forbidden, as are motor vehicle traffic, fires and overflights, particularly by drones. Bivouacs are permitted from 7pm to 9am.
Swimming prohibited in high-altitude lakes.
