A hike there and back for experienced hikers on a shady trail with beautiful views of the Lac du Bourget. Warning - this trail is quite rugged and long: 4.5 hours one way.
Départ parking de la mairie. Prendre la route qui conduit au petit port. La suivre jusqu’au premier virage à épingle d’où part le sentier.Très raide au départ, il parvient à une petite clairière puis pénètre dans le taillis. Le sentier court par la suite le long d’un versant pentu à environ 100/200 m au-dessus du lac. Un chemin descendant du Villard rejoint l’itinéraire au 2/3 du parcours. Peu après, on aperçoit l’Abbaye, il reste encore une heure de marche pour y parvenir.
Pour le Retour : possibilité de revenir sur vos pas. Prévoir un temps équivalent à celui de l'aller.
