A lovely walking route through the forest between Montchavin-Les Coches (plateau de Plan Bois) and Plagne Bellecôte.
In winter:
From Montchavin, take the Coches gondola (free) and then the Lac Noir gondola.
From Les Coches: take the Telebufette and then the Télécabine du Lac Noir.
At the gondola exit, cross the Mont Blanc piste to get to the Petits Loups beginners' area, which you'll ski down, then cross the Ecureuil ski lift to find yourself on a wide groomer piste.
At the bottom of this piste, there's a rise you need to take, which is the entrance to the Frasses trail.
Beautiful views of the Mont-Blanc and Beaufortain massif.
There are several high-altitude restaurants on the Plan Bois plateau.
Please note that this trail is shared with our cross-country skiing friends (do not walk in their tracks).
In summer:
From Les Coches: take the Lac Noir gondola.
From Montchavin: take the Coches gondola (free), then the Lac Noir gondola (paying).
