Map ref. :

In a remarkable setting of hedgerows, agricultural meadows and a listed Bresse farm, 8 fun stations will allow you to discover Bresse poultry, the built heritage and the Bresse bocage.

The Sougey farm is one of the oldest farms in Bresse, dating back to 1460 and classified as a historical monument. In a preserved hedgerow environment, a network of secular hedges structures the 40 hectares of the site.

A discovery trail with 8 fun stations is proposed on the themes of Bresse poultry, built heritage, the bocage and biodiversity. It will allow you to walk on 550 m (duration 3/4 of an hour) with a view on the agricultural activities present on the site: poultry breeding combining modernity and traditional know-how and a market garden production in organic farming.

Public : all public, family, translated in English.

The site has been labeled a Sensitive Natural Area since July 2014 by the Department of Ain.

The site is accessible on request from the Association of the "Friends of Sougey".
