Right in the heart of Bresse, home of the world's only AOC poultry, you'll make your way through the Bresse bocage. On your way, don't hesitate to stop and discover the jewel of Bresse gastronomy and its local produce.
This Ain à Vélo itinerary, dedicated to bicycle travellers, is suitable for cyclists who are used to cycling. It invites you to discover the life and traditions of the Bresse region, including the famous AOC Bresse poultry, an emblematic product of the region and a world-renowned culinary jewel. Departure from the La Traverse greenway in Attignat to reach the Georges Blanc Village in Vonnas, an enchanting place marked by the famous Michelin-starred chef for 40 years. Then on to Saint-Cyr sur Menthon for a visit to the Musée Domaine des Saveurs - Les Planons, which traces the rich history of Bresse through its culture, traditions and gastronomy from the 15th century to the present day. A must-see! To complete the loop, take the La Traverse greenway to Attignat via Saint-Didier d'Aussiat.
