This neighborhood, once very rich, was home to the mansions of the Rentiers, the Merchants and the Lawyers. On both sides of the Jacquemart hill, facades of the 14th and 15th centuries, with mullioned windows.

On the ground floor of the houses are the remains of medieval store arches.

Turn left down the hill into Impasse Jacquemart.

At the end of the cul-de-sac, a house with wooden staircase and balcony offers a glimpse of what the Quartier might have been like in the Middle Ages.
