Rafraichissant et très panoramique ! Rando à la journée.
From Rosuel (1,556 m): cross the torrent by the Bettières footbridge or go to the hamlet of Guraz (1,617 m) and cross the torrent at the bottom of this hamlet.
Follow the fairly steep path up to the foot of the waterfall (1,826 m) of the Nant Putors (name of the torrent). You cross the water on an overhead EDF structure. The path climbs southwards through a meadow of rare flowers. We cross another large torrent (ruisseau du Prêtre) which we lodge upstream by a steep path and a climb on rocky slabs. We join the path that leads to the Mt Pourri refuge (at this point we enter the heart of the PNV). We cross the Nant du Prêtre stream above the cliff (in summer there is a footbridge). We reach a group of ruins (alpage du Carroz 2 190 m) where we take the path that runs along the cliffs. Several stream crossings until you reach Les Lauyes (2031 m) after an aerial passage. We follow this path to Beaupraz. Easy return to Rosuel
It is possible to do this route in the other direction.
Difficulty: stay on the path. Never look for a shortcut: cliffs. Crossing streams can be tricky. Rock falls are possible. Beware of the strength of the torrents in spring and at the end of the day.
