An easy hike from Mont-Saxonnex, with magnificent views. At the summit, a lovely panorama awaits you over the Jalouvre.
From Les Frachets to Col de Cenise: 25 min. Continue on foot along the farm track that starts in front of the Frachets farm. The climb is gentle on a wide track. You cross the mountain pastures as far as the Felay cross. From the cross, continue along the track where the vast plateau and pass are revealed between the Rochers de Leschaux to the right and the Bargy range to the left. From the Col de Cenise to the Rochers de Leschaux: 1h20 Continue in the direction of the Rochers de Leschaux, cross the pasture and follow the rocks to the signpost indicating the Rochers de Leschaux. The route continues through the Lapiaz (crevassed limestone rock). You'll pass cairns made by keen walkers. Once you reach the cross, you'll be at the summit of the Rochers de Leschaux, from where you can admire a breathtaking panoramic view.
The return journey follows the same paths as the outward journey.
