The Maison de Boigne, currently the Town Hall, is classed as a historic monument.
Also known as the 'Grand Maison', this imposing house in the heart of Chanaz belonged to the Comte de Boigne, Général d'Empire, after the French Revolution. This architectural masterpiece is an ancient château with a pointed door from the 13th century, mullion windows from the 16th century, and French-style ceilings and fireplaces. Today, it is used as the Town Hall. Next to the Maison is a restored bread oven and dovecotes.
