At L'Échopp' de Travers, Corentin brews craft beers and makes various homemade products.
A covered terrace is available where you can sample his creations and take a break during your trip along the ViaRhôna.
Located close to ViaRhôna, the L’Échopp’ de Travers microbrewery is a family business based in the heart of the Balcons du Dauphiné. Corentin, a craft brewer, produces his own beers there in small quantities. The brewery offers six permanent beers, made with ingredients selected for their aromatic character.
Permanent beers:
Amber beer – Tonka bean
- Appearance: amber to brown colour with a dark robe.
- Nose: aromas of caramel and vanilla.
- Palate: caramelised and vanilla notes.
- Alcohol: 6%.
Brut IPA
- Appearance: brut champagne-style beer with a golden colour.
- Nose: American hops with spicy and citrus aromas.
- Palate: hints of passion fruit, mango and lime.
- Alcohol: 5.5%.
Blonde beer – French hops
- Appearance: top-fermented blonde beer.
- Nose: floral notes
- Palate: light and smooth on the palate
- Alcohol: 5%.
White beer – Timut pepper
- Appearance: white beer.
- Nose: Timut pepper (Nepal), with fruity and peppery aromas.
- Palate: citrus and grapefruit notes.
- Alcohol: 4.5%.
IPA – Indian Pale Ale
- Appearance: hoppy beer with a light golden colour.
- On the nose: Chinook hops (pine, resin, spices, citrus) and Centennial hops (floral and citrus aromas).
- On the palate: mild bitterness.
- Alcohol: 5.5%.
La Chope – Blonde with character
- Appearance: pale golden colour.
- Aroma: cereal and yeast aromas.
- Taste: powerful cereal flavour.
- Alcohol: 6%.
Homemade products and tasting on site:
In addition to beers, the microbrewery offers homemade products such as foie gras (white port, Sarawak pepper) and smoked gravlax salmon (Timut pepper). These preparations are available to take away.
During the summer months, you can enjoy a craft beer on the terrace or share an aperitif platter of fresh produce.
The place is ideal for a break on the ViaRhôna cycle route or for a convivial moment with friends or colleagues.
