All the beauties of the wild life, geology, and geography of Aiguebelette lake gathered in a lovely human scale museum.
Covering geology, history, lake archaeology, fauna, and flora, the museum features a collection of over 75 protected species, allowing visitors to observe in life-size what they can't see in the wild.
The tour enables children and grown ups to learn through testing and observation.
This museum, built by the F.A.P.L.A (Federation of the Lac d'Aiguebelette protection associations), offers various reconstructed sceneries.
Its collection is the product of 30 years of work from a local association.
Workshops and shows are organised: you can go on fapla.fr for more information.
Free tours are organised during special events.
The museum takes part of Nature Day during spring, and of European heritage Days and Science Day during autumn.
