Canadel Military Necropolis
Necropolis officially inaugurated in 1958.
A first provisional necropolis had been set up the day after the D-Day landings in August 1944, where the graves were oriented perpendicular to the road and not very visible.
The Municipality of Le Rayol Canadel paid the entire cost of a new installation on the very ground that they had come to liberate.
