An old Alpine chalet is home to this museum, created by the Survivors of Les Glières and devoted to life in the Haute-Savoie during the Second World War. The focus upstairs is the Resistance movement in Les Glières and the liberation of the département.

The Morette site is dedicated to the memory of the Resistance, around the Nécropole nationale des Glières, created in April 1944 to bury 105 fallen members of the Resistance. It is managed by the Office national des anciens combattants et victimes de guerre.

Virtual tour of the Necropolis:

Use your smartphone to discover the lives of some of the Glières maquis fighters, the context of the Resistance in Haute-Savoie and the history of the Necropolis.

Virtual tour created by Patrimoine Aurhalpin in partnership with the Haute-Savoie Department (texts, images from departmental collections).
