A pilgrimage to a magical place in the heart of the Valmeinier nature reserve 2000
This pilgrimage allowed the mountain people who spent the summer in the mountain pastures to put themselves under the protection of Our Lady of the Snows. Following the rural exodus, the pilgrimage disappeared. It was rehabilitated in 1986.
The departure is from the Chenalette car park.
Take the path at the end of the car park and go to the Ordière intersection.
Turn left onto the path that climbs towards La Lausa. When you reach the flat area, continue walking towards the Notre-Dame des Neiges chapel.
