The Six-Fours / ST Littoral Cycle Route. Raphaël (V65 of the National Véloroutes et Voies Vertes scheme) allows you to cover a large part of the Var coast by the coast or inland, following the route of the old Provence railway line and crossing 20 municipalities .
To take this route is to discover all the diversity of the landscapes, the richness of the flora and an exceptional coastal area.
It expands over time with new developments. To date 92 km of the 120 km have been developed on this route, including 77 km on its own site.
Attention, between Six-Fours / ST. Raphaël, some parts of the route have not yet been finalized and require you to use portions of high traffic roads. Check the condition of the course by consulting the legend of the map of the course chosen.
The section of the Littoral Cycle Route in the town of Gassin is divided into several sections in its own, shared site or existing cycle lanes and in two-way project over a length of approximately 9 km.
DEPARTURE / ARRIVAL POINT
- Continue the cycle route which started from the roundabout on avenue Gourbenet and during the course you pass on the town of Gassin until the roundabout of La Foux in own site existing on a length of 4.1 km then a small part in its own site but planned to end in a cyclabele strip over a length of 1.60 km.
- From the La Foux roundabout towards St Tropez following the RD98A on its own and shared site over a length of 4 km.
- From the roundabout of La Foux in the direction of Cogolin is a part of the route on its own site planned.
PARKING
- Parking at the Gulf of Saint-Tropez Tourism House
PRECISION
- Cycle track: dedicated site reserved for two- or three-wheeled cycles, indicates to pedestrians and drivers of other vehicles that they are not entitled to use this facility or to stop there (except for vehicles emergency, fire, police, service vehicle and on certain sections to authorized residents and mopeds). In the absence of sidewalks or passable shoulders, non-motorized users (pedestrians, rollerblades, people with reduced mobility, etc.) must walk on the left side of the road.
- Greenway: clean site exclusively reserved for the circulation of non-motorized vehicles and pedestrians (except for emergency vehicles, firefighters, police, service vehicle and on certain sections to authorized residents and moped riders).
When the competent police authority also decides to authorize the circulation of riders, the panel is supplemented by the “M4y” sign designating the riders.
