Access to Lake Anterne does not present any technical difficulty as the northern slope of the Col d'Anterne is cleared of snow. We will have to wait until the end of June, depending on the year.
Although the official opening of Mountain Lake is the first Saturday in June, it is still mostly frozen on this date. You can then head to Lake Pormenaz, whose starting point is identical.
You can spend the night at the refuge of Moede Anterne Access possible by Sixt Fer à Cheval from Lignon
