La Prairie accueille un parcours piéton d'environ 700 mètres retraçant l’épopée napoléonienne à Laffrey. Le sentier offre un superbe panorama sur le lac de Laffrey et les montagnes de la Matheysine.
Dès l’entrée, deux élégants édicules de pierre marquent le début de la boucle.
Six points d’information jalonnent le chemin, guidant les visiteurs jusqu’à la célèbre statue en bronze.
Pour les plus jeunes, un espace de jeux sur le thème du chapeau bicorne de l’empereur a été aménagé.
