Dans la forêt domaniale du Col d'Ornon, notez l'importance des travaux du RTM (Restauration des Terrains de Montagne). Ces travaux ont été mis en place depuis plus d'un siècle pour la remise en état de terrains soumis à l'érosion.
Attention : Zone à éviter en cas d'orage, érosion très importante.
