The church of St Pons was built in the 16th century on the site of a 12th century castral chapel. It was disused in the 19th century after the construction of a new neo-gothic church in the village itself.

All that remains of this building are a few imposing ruins listed in the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques (Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments).

This chapel consisted of a central nave with 3 bays ending in a canted apse and 2 side aisles built in several campaigns. The whole was vaulted with ribbed ceilings. The bell tower has almost completely disappeared. It stood between the choir and the right side aisle.

Next to the church of Saint Pons, you can find an orientation table with a view of the village of Collobrières.
