Following bad weather, the funicular suffered major damage at the end of 2021. It is temporarily closed pending reopening in 2027 for its centenary!
En "remplacement" du Funiculaire, à partir du 13 avril la ligne de bus 305 vous transporte de l'aire d'atterrissage des parapentes de Lumbin à la gare haute du Funiculaire à St Hilaire. Vous pouvez consulter les horaires en ligne : https://www.tougo.fr/ligne-305/
Le funiculaire grignote, à plus de 90 ans, 750m de dénivelée, le long des pentes de Chartreuse. Avec lui vous gagnerez le plateau des Petites Roches, arrivée St Hilaire. Panorama exceptionnel sur la chaine de Belledonne, le Mont Blanc et le Mont Aiguille.
