Discover the balcony trails that wind their way through the first heights of Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne.
Who would have thought that, just a few dozen metres from the hustle and bustle of the valley floor, the heights of Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne would offer such spaces of calm and contemplation. This is what this itinerary offers, starting from the town center and taking you in just a few steps along the first paths once used by the inhabitants of the heights.
Route: start from Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne- Mairie and join rue Beauregard. Continue along the road, passing the last buildings, then take the path to the right, Le Noiray, passing Sous Le Noiray. Turn right towards La Buffaz. Once on the road, continue for about 400 m to a cross at Crêt Lazare. Take the footpath below, heading for Saint Anne via Les Vignes. At La Chapelle, drop down to join the minor road and turn right towards Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne via a road and then a balcony path. From the center of Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne, you can make a round trip to the Tour Ronde.
