Depuis la halte fluviale, le chemin de halage emmène jusqu'à la jolie chapelle de Marcillieux. En bordure du Rhône, sentier parfait pour s'aérer en fin de journée ou le week-end, avec les enfants ou votre animal. Sans aucune difficulté ou dénivelé.
La vue sur la rivière, le bruissement du vent dans les feuilles, la fraîcheur des arbres en font un sentier idéal pour une balade facile et rapide.
La chapelle ne se visite pas mais vous pouvez apprécier son architecture toute en rondeur. Un impressionnant contraste d'époques se créé à l'arrivée avec la centrale électrique voisine.
La halte fluviale, au calme des saules pleureurs, avec vue sur les eaux du Rhône offre un agréable cadre de pause goûter en fin de balade.
