Hike along an ideal trail to soak up the atmosphere of the forest. You leave the village to overlook the Canal de Savière and the Rhone River Valley. A superb view and an orientation table will enable you to appreciate this natural environment.
Découvrez Chanaz, surnommé la petite Venise savoyarde avec son vieux bourg et ses rues en pente, son architecture variée : petites ruelles du XVe et XVIe siècle, fenêtres à meneaux, maisons du temps passé aux façades de pierres calcaires et aux toits de tuiles plates.
Enjambez le Canal de Savière par la Passerelle conçue et fabriquée par les professeurs et les élèves du lycée Monge de Chambéry, elle fut installée sur le canal en 1989. Ce canal long de 4 km, reliant le lac du Bourget au Haut Rhône fut pendant très longtemps la principale voie de communication entre la France et la Savoie.
Du belvédère, vous serez enchanté par la vue sur Chanaz, Le Grand Colombier, le Rhône...
À visiter : le musée gallo-romain et le Moulin à huile de Chanaz.
