Beneath a blanket of snow, the Rocher du Château has stood watch for millennia. On its wall, deer painted in red ochre still seem to run, frozen in time like a breath from somewhere else.
To walk here is to go back in time, to feel the presence of those who left their footprints on the mountain, to hear their impulse in the winter silence.
