Gain altitude near the cross-country skiing area of La Livraz and the views open up over the Rochebrune range and the impressive north faces of Mont Joly and Aiguille Croche.
It is here, in this grand mountain cirque, that the chamois like to overwinter and with luck, they can sometimes be spotted using binoculars. As the walk heads towards Le Leutellet, you can see the Megève altiport nestled in the heart of La Cote 2000 where flights take off to take you over the magnificent scenery of the Mont-Blanc range.
