Nice little loop around Crest-Voland. Points of view on the Aravis and Mont Charvin during the crossing in balcony above the village.
DEPARTURE: Tourist Office.
ROUTE: from the Tourist Office, go up along the church and take the path through a field towards the BÉRETS VERTS. On the small communal road, turn left to the TOVAT then right in balcony of the village to join the BALLEVARD trail. Go down on the MILL, PONT DU MOULIN then COMBE NOIRE. Cross the Nant du Moulin towards the Biollay then CHEMIN DE LA COTTUAZ. From there, join the village and the Tourist Office.
POINTS OF INTEREST:
- View of the Aravis chain and the charming little village of Héry on Ugine.
- The Mill Ainoz, unique building that was used to produce flour but was also converted into a factory of wooden handles for screwdrivers, pots, handles ... But also for legs of dolls to the Samaritan shop in Paris ! It lies on the aptly named Nant du Moulin, natural border between the municipalities of Crest-Voland and Cohennoz.
