A varied itinerary with several lovely view points, with access towards Lac d'Annecy if you want to find somewhere for dinner or if you want to find a room at Menthon Saint Bernard.
Reverse Clockwise
From the Pré Vérel refuge, head for the Col des Nantets (1426m), leaving the right-hand valley leading to Montremont and heading for the Chalet de l'Aulps Riant below (1600m). You cross a long, wide-open mountain pasture. You'll see the Dents de Lanfon on your left, and leave the pasture to descend to Villard dessus and the Col de Bluffy, where you'll be staying. If this is not possible, other accommodation is available in Menthon Saint Bernard (480m). Allow an extra 30 minutes' walk and a climb of around 200 m the next morning.
