Itinéraire de grande beauté avec la traversée de hameaux traditionnels.
Du Monal vers le hameau de La Combaz, Le Chenal, La gorge de Nancruet, Nazonde, Osière, les chalets de la Davie, hameau de la Revirette et rejoindre le Villaret du Nial qui surplombe le barrage de Tignes, appelé lac du Chevril qui occupe la cuvette ou se trouvait autrefois le village de Tignes.
