Au départ du parking du Lac de la Balme Balme-de-Sillingy, La Belle Via (V62) rejoint Sillingy, Chaumont et puis Epagny par un réseau de petites routes et cheminements mixtes piétons vélos avant d'entrer dans Annecy.
Côté Haute-Savoie, l'itinéraire finalisé de La Belle Via (V62) débutera à terme à Seyssel, sur les rives du Haut-Rhône et sera connecté au parcours de ViaRhôna. Il rejoindra La Balme-de-Sillingy, point de départ recommandé à date en direction d'Annecy, de ses canaux et de sa charmante vieille ville. L'aménagement cyclable le long des D992 et D1508 au départ de Seyssel n’est pas encore finalisé. Il faut donc encore un peu de patience pour s’élancer des rives du Rhône vers le lac d’Annecy. Entre montagne de la Mandallaz et plan d'eau, La Balme de Sillingy propose aux voyageurs à vélo un cadre de verdure original et plein de charme pour débuter une itinérance sur La Belle Via.
