Valfréjus is part of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise ski area, which links the resorts of Aussois, La Norma, Bessans, Bonneval sur Arc, Val Cenis and Valfréjus by shuttle bus (only in winter).

Initiation to or learning of speed riding, the new sensational and trendy sport, thanks to Europe's first speed riding school, "Ataka".

On the GR5 route, Valfréjus offers a multitude of hikes, wilderness walks in the Massif du Thabor, thrills (via ferrata, adventure park, zip line) and cultural discoveries in a border region rich in history, heritage and museums.
