Ascent: from one of the two barn huts in the narrow valley, follow the path to the Fonderie bridge. Leave the Mont Thabor itinerary to the west
Thabor to the west and climb the gentle slopes of the Tavernette valley to the Col de la Vallée Étroite (2434 m).
It takes just a few minutes to reach the Thabor refuge.
