A great via ferrata for children and adult beginners alike. The 2nd part of the route traverses a steep wall, with several playful footbridges.

Les Diablotins is a via ferrata with two sections. The first is not very difficult. The second (not compulsory) is more aerial.

Part 1 (PD): leave the loophole and follow the south face of the fort. Continue along the cable up a ladder along the west face of the fort. At the foot of the walls, you reach a small wooden footbridge. Just above, you reach a flat grassy area. Escape route on the right: cross a wall of the fort near the chapel.

2nd part (AD): begins with a pretty Nepalese bridge (Luciferrata) and continues with a succession of ledges interspersed with rungs to climb up and down. In the middle, the via joins a beautiful 50-metre-high vertical limestone wall, which it crosses not far from the summit. Wooden footbridge at the top. Then descent to a lower cliff, but with a tricky passage. The end is near the route des forts, close to the Fort Victor Emmanuel parking lot.

Special course for adult beginners and children aged 9-10 (from 6/8 years for the 1st part, then possible escape route).

Total length: 500 m

Level: not very difficult (PD) before escape route, fairly difficult (AD) after escape route.

Duration: 45mn to 1h30

Height: 50m

Les Diablotins is one of the 7 routes of the via ferrata du Diable, whose different itineraries stretch between the forts of Esseillon and the vertiginous gorges of the Arc, at the foot of the resorts of Aussois and La Norma.
