The first part goes in a beautiful succession of ledges and ends with skyrocketing through the Seraphim. This crossing continues, much in the second physical section. An easy descent leads to an athletic jump.
The Traversée des Anges starts from the side of the Redoute Marie-Thérèse.
The first section (AD level) descends over a succession of ledges, ending with the vertiginous Séraphins traverse (escape route: a path leads back to the Pont du Diable trail).
The second part of the traverse is much more physical (level D). An easy descent leads to the foot of the terminal wall, with a gassy, athletic passage 100 m up, not far from the Pont du Diable.
Total length: 360 m

La Traversée des Anges is the 1st of 7 via ferrata du Diable routes, stretching between the Esseillon forts and the vertiginous Arc gorges, at the foot of the Aussois and La Norma resorts.
