Cette étape de ViaRhôna se joue astucieusement de l’environnement urbanisé du Grand Lyon pour relier les parcs et plans d’eaux de l’agglomération, Le Grand Large et Miribel-Jonage.
C’est ensuite une superbe balade urbaine à vélo sur les berges du Rhône. Au confluent avec la Saône, voici un nouveau quartier à l’architecture novatrice, symbolisé par le musée des Confluences qui a ouvert le 20 décembre 2014. Itinéraire sur voies vertes non balisées.
